Loren Wesley Vankirk, an electrician and business leader, operates Vankirk Electric, a nationwide provider of all-encompassing electrical construction project services related to communications, lighting, and safety infrastructure in buildings such as multifamily residences. Vankirk Electric has installed electrical systems in tens of thousands of housing units in markets throughout the United States. Before becoming chief executive officer of the business, Loren Wesley Vankirk honed his electrical skills working on projects in the West and Midwest.



Since taking charge of Vankirk Electric, Mr. Vankirk has implemented marketing strategies that increased revenues from a few million dollars to $50 million. The company's profitability was boosted as a result of restructuring initiatives that enhanced efficiency and helped further project management goals. Additionally, Mr. Vankirk worked to establish business relationships that boost market share.
